Ok fam. I think I'm ready to get my 1st upgrade on my '08 Z. Gonna go with the ART pipes for $525 online. What do y'all think? I'm I making the right choice and is that a reasonable price? Remember I'm new to all this.

Most people start with in intakes then exhaust but in the end both get done.
As a side note: NF 2012 just raffled off a set of ART Pipes from Motordyne. Motordyne is a good sponsor to the club this year. Wouldn't hurt to them know that your in the club and wish you would have won the ART pipes but still have to have them.

From what I understand, Tony @ Motordyne is great to work with. ART pipes are on my wish list as well.

thats a good upgrade to go with however,....
wouldn't you rather wait when the funds are right and have your pipes combined with a good catback???
being new to it, its easy to get impatient.
Ok hear me out....without giving too much info, I'm a lucky man to even have a Z. Funds for me come once a year. And right now I have enought for onr upgrade until next year. At first I was looking at a k&n typhoon intake but advisors said short ram intakes are not that worthy. So after some research I've learned that ART pipes are like flow masters for mustangs hence I once had a 05 mustang. Yes I know that part of the whole eqaution is intake, pipes and exhaust but why not take out one of the most expensive but yet personalized pieces out of the eqaution. So in conclusion, I think I'll go with some art pipes for now. To be continued.........
Remember I'm just a rookie!!!
on the HR, art pipe are probably the best bolt on. so are you gonna install them?
